Helpful Tips

  • Children only need a backpack and change of clothes to start school – we will provide any supplies they need.
  • Each student will be offered breakfast at the beginning of the day (lunch for North Park PM classes), a midday meal, and snacks throughout the day.
  • You are welcome to come by your child’s class and visit at any time! Please just let your child’s teacher know if you plan to stop by.
  • If you need to sign your child out early for the day, please discuss this with the teacher.

Remember to read all materials that come home in your child’s backpack – we send home important notices you won’t want to miss. Visit this page to sign up to receive our monthly newsletter via email, and don’t forget to follow us on Facebook for weather-related updates, upcoming events, and more!

  • If you did not arrange transportation services during enrollment, please plan to transport your child to and from school yourself, or arrange transportation with a friend or family member.  Remember that if you cannot pick up or drop off your own child, the adult you ask to do so must be listed on your child’s emergency contact sheet.
  • We suggest communicating with your child who will pick them after school and, if it’s not at school (perhaps at a day care or our child care program), that you tell them where they will be picked up. We find that communicating this information results in less anxiety for your child.
  • Changes to the emergency contact sheet must be made in person with your family advocate – to protect your child’s safety, we will not accept changes over the phone. If you are part of our tuition program and do not have a family advocate, please see the front desk to make these changes.
